This bag is a slightly scaled down version of our primary bag, the Dirt Bag, and has plenty of room for your things for all but primary aid stations. These easily fit a pair of shoes and half a dozen bars, for instance. If you need to store a change of clothes and more than one pair of shoes you should check out the larger bags. Acceptable size for events when packed in accordance to the size limitations for a given event.
The identification panel's front side is intended for your event bib# and aid station name the bag is destined for. Since permanent marker pen will not come out of the ID panel material, place a strip of duct tape onto the panel and write your ID info on that. This can then be erased with rubbing alcohol so you can reuse the tape. These bags are highly water resistant but not waterproof. In wet conditions it is recommended that you first put your gear into a sealable plastic bag before placing it into your drop bag. Ziploc® freezer bags work well for this. To clean your drop bag, wash with soapy water, rinse and air dry. Do not use bleach. A note on colors: we purchase fabric in small lots so there may be some variation in color from what is depicted here. Also, computer monitors differ in how they render colors.
